Our History

Nuneaton Memories was created by accident in 2013.  Originally intended to just chronicle the history of Nuneaton Carnival via a Facebook Group by former Carnival Committee member Mark Palmer.

In January 2014 the Facebook Group at www.facebook.com/group/NuneatonMemories boasted over 2800 members with members posting and sharing their own personal photographs of Nuneaton. In February 2015 we had over 7800 members and February 2016 we have 12,348 and February 2018 we have over 20,000

The photographs seen on this website have been shared by facebook group members or have kindly been made available by organisations, business or local authority and individuals.

If you have any old photographs of Nuneaton, please contact via this link, one of the team will get back in touch or see the News & Whats On page for our next scanning session. You can help keep Nuneaton Memories alive by sending a donation, no matter how small, see Donations, Blog & Video page.
