During the dark hours of 16th and 17th May 1941, bombs fell on Nuneaton

Over 130 residents lost their life that night

Sadly, some remain unidentified and a mass grave at Oaston Road Cemetery in Nuneaton marks their burial place

Local WW2 historian Ben Mayne, supported by Nuneaton Memories approached the local authority to have the gravestone cleaned and reset

On Monday 17th May 2021, on the 80th anniversary of that fateful night, Father Brian regan rededicated the headstone and blessed the grave
